Technique Class
Once you develop good dance technique and rhythm, you can become absorbed
in the music and the music will be expressed through your dancing.
Learning technique for dancing is like learning alphabet, grammar and spelling for
proper writing. It forms the solid foundation upon which creativity may be built.
Basic dance technique teaches coordination and muscle control and defines how
to move your muscles, and which ones to use in order to make your dancing look
the way it should. Good technique will allow you to have control over movements
and help you develop your interpretation of the music.
In this class you will develop your technique, posture and rhythm.

Technique/Choreography Class
Intermediate and Advanced
Learn combinations of movement and presentation. A good presentation is when
the dancer or performer allows her own personality and emotions to come out
while she is dancing.  This is usually the last thing that is developed in becoming
a good dancer.  This is because it is difficult to express our personality while you
are thinking about technique, posture, rhythm, etc.  The role of a good dance
instructor is to not only teacher new steps and techniques, but also corrects
mistakes. You will advance your dance skills and move on to your next level by
attending this class, which is designed to be taken with the Basic Technique
class or after you have learned some basics.
